Five kinds of cleanout, one crew

A cleanout is different from picking up one couch. It means a whole room, a whole garage or a whole property gets emptied, and the floor is swept when we leave. Dany Jeanpaul runs every one of these jobs himself with his brother and his crew.

Pick the page that matches your job. Each one explains what is included, what moves the price and what to expect on the day.

  • Full house cleanouts: every room, closet, attic space and patio, from $1,000.
  • Garage cleanouts: boxes, shelving, old tools, furniture and yard leftovers, from $300.
  • Estate cleanouts: a loved one's home cleared for the family or the realtor, at a pace that respects the family.
  • Hoarding cleanouts: private, patient, non-judgmental removal of belongings and debris.
  • Storage unit cleanouts: we empty the unit and haul everything away so you can stop paying rent on it.

How Dany sets one flat price for a cleanout

Text a few photos to (754) 249-1015. Most cleanouts get a flat, all-in price the same day. That price covers labor, loading, hauling and disposal. There is no separate dump fee and no hourly meter running while we work.

Three things move the number: how much there is, how heavy it is, and how hard it is to get out. A second-floor condo with a shared elevator takes longer than a ground-level garage that opens onto the driveway. Concrete, tile and pavers weigh far more than boxes of clothes. If Dany cannot judge it from photos, he comes by for a quick look first.

Cleanouts are paid after the job. If the price comes to $1,000 or more, Dany may ask for a 50% deposit and will tell you that when he gives the price, not on the day.

What we leave for other trades

We are a hauling crew. We remove things, load them and take them to disposal. We do not do deep cleaning, mold work, pest control or repairs. If the space needs a cleaning company or another trade after us, we can work around their schedule.

We also do not run estate sales or appraise belongings. Families usually pull out what they want to keep first, and we take the rest. Anything you mark to stay, stays.

Cleanouts in Broward and Miami-Dade buildings

A lot of cleanouts here happen in condos, townhomes and HOA communities. Many buildings want the service elevator booked, a certificate of insurance on file, or work kept to set hours. Ask your manager what they need. Rapid Haul carries $1M general liability insurance; ask Dany for proof before the job.

City bulk trash pickup has its own limits on how much you can set out and when. A full cleanout usually goes well past that, which is why people call us instead of waiting weeks. Summer heat and afternoon rain also shape the day. We like to start early, keep things covered when storms roll in, and keep the driveway clear for your neighbors.

What to sort before the crew arrives

You do not need to bag or box anything. That is our job. The one thing that helps is deciding what stays. Pull out papers, photos, jewelry, keys and anything with sentimental value, or put a piece of tape on it. If you are not sure about a box, set it aside and we will leave it.

If the electricity or water is off at the property, tell Dany. A dark house or garage is fine, it just changes how we plan the day.

Who calls us for cleanouts

Homeowners getting ready to sell. Landlords turning over a rental between tenants. Families settling a parent's home. People who finally want their garage back. One landlord wrote that the crew got a rental property "cleaned out just in time" (Miguel A.) so the renovation could start.

Since 2025, Dany has done 250 jobs across Broward and Miami-Dade, mostly in Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Davie, Weston and Hollywood, where he is based. Palm Beach County is possible when the job is big enough to make the drive worth it.

How the job runs, step by step

  1. Step 1

Walk through and mark what stays

Dany walks the space with you and confirms the price. Anything you want kept gets set aside or marked so nobody touches it.

  2. Step 2

    Carry out and load

The crew bags loose items, breaks down what needs it and carries everything out. We work carefully around walls, floors and anything staying behind.

  3. Step 3

    Haul to disposal

Every load goes to proper disposal. Disposal is already in your flat price, so there is nothing extra to pay later.

  4. Step 4

    Sweep and final check

We sweep the empty space and walk it with you. You pay once you are happy with the result.

Cleanouts: common questions

Something else on your mind? Call (754) 249-1015.

How much does a cleanout cost?

Garage cleanouts start at $300 and full house cleanouts start at $1,000. Estate, hoarding and storage unit cleanouts get a flat price after a photo or a quick look. Every price includes labor, loading, hauling and disposal.

How long does a cleanout take?

A garage or storage unit is often done in a few hours. A full house or estate can take a day or more. Dany gives you a realistic time with the price.

Can you do a cleanout the same day?

Often, yes, when you call early in the day and the job fits the schedule. Larger cleanouts are usually booked a day or two out.

Do I need to be there?

Not for the whole job. Someone needs to let us in and confirm what stays. Many landlords and out-of-town families meet Dany at the start, then get photos when it is done.

What won't you take?

Hazardous materials like paint thinners, chemicals, fuel and propane tanks need special disposal. Tell Dany what is there and he will tell you what we can take.

When do I pay?

Cleanouts are paid after the job. If the price is $1,000 or more, Dany may ask for a 50% deposit, and he tells you up front.
