Junk removal in Coconut Creek for condos, HOA homes and patios
Junk removal, patio and garage cleanouts and remodel debris in Coconut Creek. Text Dany a photo, get one flat, all-in price, often the same day.
01What Republic's weekly bulk pickup takes in Coconut Creek
Coconut Creek contracts all residential solid waste to Republic Services, including garbage, bulk and yard waste. Republic's number is 954-327-9550. Single-family homes get bulk once a week, on the first garbage day of the week. In multi-family communities, call Republic or check with your HOA, because bulk goes where the property says.
Republic takes furniture, mattresses, appliances, carpeting, padding, fencing and other bulky non-hazardous household items. Lawn equipment is fine if drained of oil and gas, and broken glass only in a dry, sturdy, sealed container labeled glass. The city does not publish a volume cap.
The set-out rules are tight. Items go out before 7 a.m. on collection day and no more than 24 hours before it, within five feet of the curb, stacked neatly, away from poles, hydrants, mailboxes, fences and cars, and not under tree limbs that block the truck's arm. Bulk service stops once a hurricane warning is issued.
02When the curb doesn't work
The 24-hour window is the hard part. A big pile has to appear the night before and be gone by morning, which is hard to pull off with a full house of furniture. Bulk also has to come from the home it sits in front of, and commercial properties arrange their own hauling.
Coconut Creek residents also lack a nearby self-haul option. The city is not on Broward County's participating lists for the residential drop-off centers, and no city bulk drop-off was found. Paint, chemicals and electronics wait for the regional drop-off events.
That is where Dany comes in. He loads from the patio, the garage or the unit, at a time you pick, for one flat price. Furniture removal starts at $125 and garage cleanouts at $300.

03Remodel debris, roll-offs and Coconut Creek permits
Republic will not take roofing, tile, concrete, bricks or stone unless they come from minor home remodeling. A real kitchen or bathroom tear-out needs its own haul.
One rule to know: the city says Republic is the exclusive provider of roll-off dumpsters for commercial and residential customers in Coconut Creek. If your project calls for a roll-off, that goes through Republic. Rapid Haul does not rent dumpsters; Dany hauls debris by the load. If you are not sure which applies to your permitted job, he will tell you what applies before booking.
Permits come from the City of Coconut Creek Building Division, at the Government Center, 4800 West Copans Road, 954-973-6750. Contractors apply through ePermits, and owner-builder permits are applied for in person. The city says a permit is needed for any alterations, replacements or removals of existing structures. The GC or the property owner pulls it. Rapid Haul does the non-structural tear-out and the haul. Room demo starts at $750 and construction debris hauling at $200.
04Condos, townhouses and landscaped communities
Coconut Creek was incorporated in 1967 as a planned community with many trees, waterways and parks, and it calls itself the Butterfly Capital of the World. Housing is mainly single-family homes, condominiums and townhouses inside professionally landscaped communities.
Census figures put owner-occupancy at 64.8%, the median owner-occupied home at $309,600, and residents 65 and older at 20.1%. In condos and HOA communities, the calls are screened patios cleared of old furniture, garages emptied before a sale, and units cleared out when a long-time owner moves. Tell Dany your association's rules for trucks and move-outs when you text.

05Price and same-day service from Hollywood
Rapid Haul is based in Hollywood, and Coconut Creek is in the regular Broward service area, with Parkland, Coral Springs and Margate to the west and Deerfield Beach and Pompano Beach to the east. Text a photo to (754) 249-1015 and Dany sends one flat, all-in price covering labor, loading, hauling and disposal.
Same-day is often possible when you call early, Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. Junk removal is paid after the job. Jobs of $1,000 and over, mostly demolition, take a 50% deposit.
