The text that came in on a Sunday
A realtor reached out late on a Sunday. He had a showing the next morning and junk still sitting in the house. In Dany's video, the text comes in at 8:07. Dany had just rushed home from church, put on work clothes and headed over, about 18 minutes away.
What went out
On site, the realtor walked Dany through it piece by piece: what stays and what goes. Some boxes stayed. A little table, the furniture staged in the garage, a bed frame, a dresser, shelving and the mattresses all went.
Dany filmed the whole job, but it was dark, so most of the footage is too dark to show. The stills here are the frames that came out clear: furniture waiting in the garage, and the bed frame and dresser being carried out.
What realtors can take from this
Junk left in a listing does not help a showing, and the timing is rarely convenient. What made this one work: the realtor texted, Dany answered himself, and the walk-through on site was quick because the realtor knew what stayed and what went.
If you have a showing coming up, send photos of everything that has to go and say what stays. Dany answers every call and text himself, so you get a straight answer on timing and one flat price.
How it ended
Everything was loaded in the back of the truck that night. As Dany put it at the end of the video: mattresses, everything. The realtor had the house clear for his morning showing.
Rapid Haul's regular hours are Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. This was a last-minute call outside those hours, and Dany took it. If you are a realtor with a listing to clear, text a photo to (754) 249-1015.
“it don't matter what time of day it is, no matter when, what time I get a phone call, I'm going to work.”
